jGrasp compiler issues VISTA (cause we've all been here at one point)
Ok, I know this may be old news to some, but I can't get my compiler to work on jgrasp (fyi I have windows vista). Everytime I save my work, the following error message appears:
----jGRASP exec: javac -g C:\Users\Marciano\Hello.java
---- at: Nov 24, 2009 11:05:29 AM
----jGRASP wedge: pid for wedge is 4876.
----jGRASP wedge2: pid for wedge2 is 4772.
----jGRASP wedge2: CLASSPATH is ".;;.;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\lib\ext\QTJava.zip;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_17<version>\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\jGRASP\extensions\classes".
----jGRASP wedge2: working directory is [C:\Users\Marciano] platform id is 2.
----jGRASP wedge2: actual command sent ["C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_17\bin\javac.exe" -g C:\Users\Marciano\Hello.java].
----jGRASP wedge2: pid for process is 2748.
----jGRASP wedge2: exit code for process is 0.
----jGRASP: operation complete.
I've tried to solve this problem on my own by setting up a different PATH variable, because I figured my computer had problems executing the correct variable. My current PATH variables are as follows:
1. java_home
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java
2. CLASSPATH
.;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\lib\ext\QTJava.zip;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_17<version>\bin
3. PATH
.;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\lib\ext\QTJava.zip;C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.6.0_17<version>\bin;C:\Windows\sys tem32;C:\Windows\system32;C:\Windows;C:\Windows\Sy stem32\Wbem;C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Roxio Shared\DLLShared\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Roxio Shared\10.0\DLLShared\;C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\HP\Digital Imaging\\bin;C:\Program Files (x86)\QuickTime\QTSystem\
One more thing, whenever I type in "javac" (without the quotes) under the command prompt, I'm getting a message that it isn't recognized as an operable program. I can't seem to shake this problem, please help me out you guys...
