Which is better Eclipse or Rational Software Development? and Why?
are they the same?
what's your opinion about it?
I have to choice one of them and I want your opinion

Actually Rational XDE is also eclipse , Your question is confusing because there is no comparison between eclipse (the plugin philosophy) ,XDE.I think here you are asking for the some plugin in eclipse with another plugin of eclipse (XDE) you should specify the name of the other plugin then only we can comment
