So what is the best IDE ?
first, i don't know where to post this,
hope its the right place
second,
when coding in JAVA i used two Editors,
JCreator and NetBeans.
the first one is sort of good.
its not heavy on the machine and its so simple, really like this feature.
the second one is also good, got many examples, but i found that its heavy, its not running as smooth as JCreator.
well, I'm asking if anyone have any suggestions, any good editors which any one used before and found it good, i would like to hear.
thanks

Since this question has been asked so often, the powers-that-be here have created a sticky thread for it:What are you using to write your code? Please have a look at this thread, and feel free to contribute to it.
Oh, and welcome to the forum!
edit: One last thing, I forgot to warn you that this thread is quite long and is currently up to page 23. I told you that this subject was popular! Happy reading!Last edited by Fubarable; 07-11-2009 at 07:43 PM.

FWIW, I use Eclipse for heavy-duty and Notepad++ for light-weight editing, both of which are heavily discussed in the link above.

rather than that ???
i sort of put an eye on eclipse,

what do you think?

You said lightweight, and Eclipse isn't lightweight, but it's a decent heavyweight editor/IDE. Again Notepad++ is a decent lightweight editor, and again if this doesn't fulfill your needs, then please have a look at the thread linked to above where the pros and cons of many editors are debated.
