    Default Extracting from executable jar

I am working on a card game and for lack of better terms, have royally screwed up my files. I do still have an executable jar that I would like to go back to if possible and try to redo what I messed up. What I was able to do was to use WinRAR and get ?encrypted? class files. Something that is obviously not editable. How can I go about converting these back to editable java files, if possible?

You are talking about class files and java files which are different. Did you do something to your
original source files and need to get them back?

Yeah. I was finally able to get a trial piece of software that can take your class files, and turn them back into the original source java files.

I did screw up my originals and needed to get some methods back from class files that were packed in the executable jar. The piece of software I found works, though I still would be interested in any advice as it is limited to 10 uses.

I don't have any advice other than to protect your source files better. Then you
would not need to try and generate source from class files. Now if you are reverse
engineering somebody else's class files to try and see the source code, then that
    is a different matter.

Lesson learned.... trust me. They are my source files, Jim, so no issues on anything in regards to jacking someone elses code. Found a decompiler that let me get my source files back (though optimized which was interesting to read). Only issue was that the decompiler only offered 10 uses. Hopefully in the future I wont be so frivolous with my sources
