Default Is there any Java GUI editor for Linux?

Not a Java editor with a GUI, but and editor for editing Java GUI's (Graphically (With JFrame, Swing etc)

(Kinda like FrontPage for HTML only for Java/Linux. You just add stuff / drag objects around and then optionally review the code after.. As simple as possible for editing Java graphically with point/click type thing)

Netbeans and Eclipse both work on linux, and they both have GUI builders. I'm surprised your google research didn't tell you about them.

But you should really think twice about using a GUI builder. They aren't designed for novices, and they create unmaintainable code that will be very difficult to customize or even debug.

I've heard that JavaFX has a more reasonable GUI builder since it exports XML, but I've never experimented with that.

JavaFX Scene Builder is available for Linux and it's pretty good. The FXML format is XML based and very easy to edit by hand if you need to. FXML just describes the layout though, you'll still need to write code for the user interaction.

That's the case with every IDE, not specifically Netbeans. And this has to be the worst reason not to use a particular development tool.

    Dear god.
Not only do you not want to actually learn Java so you can code a Swing app properly, you now want to attempt to use a GUI builder when you haven't even got the basics of Java code structure down??

Java is not a simple plug and play language.
You can't just leap in and expect to get anything but a ball of mud that will undoubtedly not work.
You need to start from the basics.

If you insist on ignoring this, then you're on your own.
Please do not ask for code as refusal often offends.

I'm all for things like Unity and Game Maker being used to teach the basics, but I'm afraid it will just increase the fail rate of novices coming in expecting to be able to drag-and-drop entire systems on their first day.
