Default [Solved] JFrame wierd resolution issues?

I use JFrame and Canvas to make a 1024 x 768 window, when I fill a rectangle with x and y being 8, 8 and width and height being 1008, 752 it fills a wierd rectangle that isn't centered. I recall having this issue before and I had an additional 10 pixels to the borders, and I drew everything 5 pixels away from the borders, I remember having 960 x 720, but this wierd issue made it like 970 x 730. If this isn't clear enough or you need to see what comes up when I fill the square or my code then please say so. Perhaps this is related to Windows, I use Windows 8.

    Regards
    Augustas

Default Re: JFrame wierd resolution issues?

I found out my issue, it was that I didn't do frame.pack() for the JFrame object!
