    When the doc and the code are in two places, that requires the reader to jump back and forth between the two places
    and there is a possibility for missing connections.

    It's better to comment the code.
    So for better responses I should work on the names of my variables, not make it so they can just copy it and use it in theirs, and comment my code?

    yes, that sounds better.
    If you don't understand my response, don't ignore it, ask a question.

    But then you understood the problem to solve already, because you found that code by specifically searching for it and you were capable to recognize the code was relevant to you. In other words: you were using your noggin'.

    People asking questions in forums tend to need help with the understanding bit and not so much the code itself, although they so eagerly want the code so they don't have to spend the time understanding the problem presented to them. You have to help people to do the right thing - understand first, then you write the code.

    You need a vector in the parking class to be able to store and remove vehicles from the parking area/lot.
    Java Code:
    *** code removed
    }
    }

    @pyler: You haven't been reading this thread, have you? I can't believe you posted this slab of code after the comments about spoonfeeding.

    @mbschultz97: See? This guy just posted the whole exercise. Did he make him pass the test? Yes. Did the OP learn anything if he just blindly copies this? No. (Well, partly yes: he learned that you can get your homework done here).

    If the OP is smart, he will use these "examples" as inspiration and still craft his own code.

    I hope so, creating your own stuff is where the fun is. Just blatantly ripping off what someone else wrote and taking credit for it is what a complete failure does. Lets call it what it should be called: plagiarism.
