    project I've been working on just STOPPED working.
    Can you explain what that means?
    If there are error messages, copy the full text and paste it here.

    If the code is not responsive, say it's in an infinite loop (look at the System stats to see if anything is running),
    try debugging it by adding some println statements in all the loops. The print out will show you where it is looping.

    It doesn't get past instantiating Main (basically it stops after anything that's lazily instantiated in Util is called)

    Where does it "stop" executing? What statement would be the next to execute if it were not to stop?

    If you can't tell where it stops, add lots of println() statements. The place it is stopping will be between the last one that printed and the next one that did NOT print.
