    See this example and try to implement on the project.

    Java Code:
    import java.util.ArrayList;
    import java.util.Collections;

    /**
     *
     * @author Eranga Tennakoon
     */
    public class ArrrayListCount {

        /**
         * @param args the command line arguments
         */
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            // TODO code application logic here
            //@Override
            ArrayList<String> ar = new ArrayList<String>();

            ar.add("192.168.2.17");
            ar.add("192.168.2.11");
            ar.add("192.168.2.17");
            ar.add("192.168.2.20");
            ar.add("192.168.2.17");
            ar.add("192.168.2.11");
            ar.add("192.168.2.17");
            ar.add("192.168.2.11");
            ar.add("192.168.1.17");
            ar.add("192.168.2.17");
            ar.add("192.168.2.11");
            ar.add("192.168.2.11");

            Collections.sort(ar);
            result(ar, ar.size());
        }

        public static void result(ArrayList al, int size) {
            int temp = 1;
            int count = 0;
            for(int i = 1; i < al.size();i++ ) {
                if(al.get(i-1).equals(al.get(i)))
                    temp++;
                else {
                    System.out.println(al.get(i - 1).toString() + " " + temp);
                    count += temp;
                    temp = 1;
                }
            }
            if(count < size) {
                System.out.println(al.get(size - 1) + " " + (size - count));

    What a piece of crap..ive been watching this thread for quite some time now...I really appreciate Eranga tryin to help this person, but i dont see any effort from this chap...i suggest you first learn what java is and do the thing that you are trying instead of begging for the code.

    @Eranga- If you really want to help this guy...stop spoon feeding him, or else he'll be back asking codes for some other job. I appreciate your patience though;)

    Does this get the longest and dumbest thread award?

    P.S Please take it seriously and learn some java. Nothing personal :)

    Hi daGame,

    First of all, welcome to our community. :)

    I agreed with you. As you said Mir, doesn't learn anything here. Always waiting for my response. Even I can't believe that, how far I helped her and how far he learn something on it.

    At the end I decide to complete this thread and last give some friendly advice to him. I'm waiting until he marks the thread solved. :) ;)
