Java has its default garbage collector which frees the memory by deleting the objects that are not in use. You can even explicitly call the collector, but that doesnt happen instantly.

This should be the place to start, now you must search online yourselves and get more knowledge about it.

Do you really want us to regurgitate what can easily be found with Google?

    Hello.

I am new to this forum.
    Yep.

Can anyone tell me the usage of garbage collector in java.
... because you're new to the forum? Weird reasoning. I'd rather look it up on wikipedia.

Hi. Here're a couple of links to get you started:
    - How Garbage Collection Works - Java Enterprise Performance Book (dynaTrace)
    - Java Garbage Collection Basics

For further info, just use the search term "java garbage collector" in Google, Bing, etc.

peterson10013 makes an inane post, williamson10012 replies with an inane comment? Seems legit.
Get in the habit of using standard Java naming conventions!
