    Default javac file

hello I have just tried to learn java this week

[COLOR="#000000"]and I am being held back by this once installed java jdk I nav to the java file and the bin file and then the javac file to find that the below tab does not exist

A new window should pop up giving the properties of the javac, there should be an attribute called Location

    any help would be appreciated

I can see the location option in my documents but in no other folder

I have no idea what you're talking about. Tab? Location attribute? Javac is a command line tool, you open a command prompt and you call it that way.

do I have to alter the registry that is all I can find once googled

I do not like doing this

have done it a couple of times ,
all that has to happen is one step of the followed tutorial to be missed and then your computer can be totally useless.

No, you don't. In stead of reading obscure sh1t on the internet you should use a good book or minimally the Oracle tutorials.

And of course you cross-posted without posting a link to it.
