Default Does Java have a nice DatePicker object similar to C#?

I've looked around a bit myself online (admittedly for only a few minutes) and have yet to come across a straight-forward object for date selection. Does Java offer something like that? Or does it really come down to a kinda drawn-out process for what should be a simple task?

    Thank you.

I am unfamiliar with DatePicker. Perhaps you can explain what you are looking for if the Calendar class does not meet your requirements.

DatePicker is basically a control that displays the selected date and brings up a calendar when you click on it to change it. The main reason for the thread was to see what was recommended for such a function (user-selected dates).

I should add that this is something I'd like to add to a JFrame.

I'll look for a tutorial on the Calendar class on YouTube. Maybe it isn't as involved as it first looked.

There is no DatePicker. You have to make one yourself. Consider it a challenge :)

The first search result for me is this: Java Date Picker | Free Development software downloads at SourceForge.net
    There should be many more.

I don't believe that Calendar will do what you want. What you want is similar to the JColorChooser class except for dates. I am, unaware of such a class in the official JDK. There is probably a third party solution somewhere though.

That's what I'm finding as well, unfortunately. It does look like there are downloads to fit the bill.

    Thanks for the replies.
