    Default Displaying GIFs in swing

How is it possible to put a gif in swing that automatically changes the frame rate by itself? g.drawImage("file.gif") won't work. Anyone know how to?

Did you read the API specification of the Graphics class or are you only guessing and hoping that it would work?

Changes the frame rate itself? You mean that animates itself?

You might try using an ImageIcon or a JLabel. One of these might work.
