Post Need Help with HTTP 404 error

We have a local website that I am trying to get working on Windows 7. When I copy everything over, install Java and Oracle and then run the link on the desktop which points too, HTTP://localhost:8080/IPDT/moddir_id...ame=IpDataUser, I get the following error message:

    HTTP 404 - /IPDT/moddir_identification.do

    type: status report
    message: /IPDT/moddir_identification.do
description The requested resource (/IPDT/moddir_identification.do) is not available.

    Apache Tomcat/5.5.36

I have attached a picture of this error as well.

If someone could help me diagnose this I would really appreciate it.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this matter.

There's not much that can be said, other than that resource isn't there.

Is it mapped correctly in the web xml, and any other mapping files?
Can you access any static resources on the webapp (eg images)?

Is there anything in the logs from the particular action to show it is being hit?
Please do not ask for code as refusal often offends.

Thank you for your reply. I can access the images directory without an issue but are you asking me if I can see them in the web? If so, how would I do that? I have attached the logs from this morning and the web.xml file. Since I am new at this I am not really sure what I am looking for? Thank you again for your help with this.

I'm really not going to trawl through your logs.
You're the one who knows what should be logged when that action is being accessed.

As for the image thing, I'm asking if you can access the static content of that app through the web, so if it had some static html (an index.html perhaps), or it has an images directory. If you can't access those then there's something up with your deployment.

either your path after contextroot(8080) is wrong or you have not write your xml file correctly
