Coding Java on a Mac
Hi,

Maybe someone has asked this question on this forum before and I just did not notice the answer.

I have been coding Java with JCreator on Windows platform for a while now, and so far so good. I have just got a Mac as a present (luck me) from mom and dad. And the first thing I have decided to do with my new Apple Mac is some pretty java coding.

My main problem now is how to code java on a Mac. Maybe someone on this forum is doing his java coding on Apple Mac.

Could someone tell me how to go about it please? Do I need to install anything? What can I write my code with, and how do I run it?

Thanks in advance please.

I don't know much about Mac, but the Mac OS is the OS that comes complete ready to use Java runtime environment and development kit. You can use Java Studio Creator for coding in Java.

Eclipse is my favorite it is simple yet powerful. The debug mode is very easy to use. The import and export is very easy.
