Default JFrame - interact with what's below???

    Hi All

I'm just wondering whether anyone can shed any light on whether this is possible for me please?

I want to launch a full screen, undecorated JFrame but i also want the user to be able to interact with what's below it. So, maybe they can highlight text in a word doc, or click on a desktop icon for example.

    Is this doable?

    Cheers

This is going to be pretty tough with Java. Why do you want to do this?

That's basically the same as saying: I want a window in my house, but I still want to be able to touch the tree behind it.

I can imagine the OP want's to surreptitiously grab keystrokes as they "pass" through the unadorned window.

Yep, that's what it sounds like to me.

OP, you'll have to write your spyware in something more nefarious. Lisp is looking pretty shifty over there, with all its secretive parenthesis and cons cells...

Good one Jim, your malicious intent radar is working better than mine today.
