    Default Java build path problem

    Hello Friends,
I am new to java and finding it difficult to learn it. I have executable jar file which is running perfectly when i am double clicking on it. but when i extracted the source code from jar file and trying to execute it in eclipse it is displaying the following errors

    1. The project was not built since its build path is incomplete. Cannot find the class file for ControlPoint. Fix the build path then try building this project
    2. The type ControlPoint cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files

Can anyone please help me out in solving these errors..

    Thanks in advance...

Default Re: Java build path problem

Well open up the jar and look at the META-INF/manifest.mf file that is in there. Is there a line starting with 'class-path' in there? That line will indicate all the additional jars that the application needs and you will need on your project's classpath to compile the code. Since you can run the application, the jars must be around somewhere.
