It is difficult to help without seeing your code. Can you provide an Short, Self Contained, Correct Example to demonstrate the problem?

Please avoid use of non-standard abbreviations. Understand that for many volunteers who help here English isn't a first or even second language. Also when asking programming questions you should strive to communicate the problem as clearly as possible since they can be quite complex. Your cooperation with this is greatly appreciated.

As for your problem, you shouldn't be having a window open up another JFrame, but likely either a JDialog or swap views with a CardLayout. As for your specific problem, I agree with jim829 -- it's impossible to guess what you may be doing wrong without code.
