    Default Checked Exception

    Hi, I was wondering if someone could help me with this question, please?

    Question 3)
    Write a class named ConnectionException that is a checked Exception. The constructor should receive an error message call the parent class passing details of the error that caused the Exception.

    So far I have...

    Java Code:
    public class ConnectionException() throws Exception
    {
    	public ConnectionException(String message)
    	{
    		super(message);
    	}
    }
    Any help would be appreciated :)

    Default Re: Checked Exception

    A class doesn't 'throws' anything, methods do. Your class should 'extend' something explicitly to be marked as a checked exception.

    kind regards,
