    Default Difference between JRE and JDK

    I was reading difference between JRE and JDK ... questin is that ... I only need JRE to run a java programme ...then JDK for what ???is JRE part of JDK ?

    JDK is a JRE on steroids: the JDK is used for development (that's the D in JDK), so think compiling, deploying, debugging... (https://duckduckgo.com/?q=difference+jdk+jre)
