    Lightbulb Basic Image manipulation

I have an image either in monochrome bitmap or even in RAW
i want to edit this image pixel by pixel by reading data from an image.
Is it possible in java? Are there special classes or any other forms of java.

PS my project is converting normal fingerprint into skeletal fingerprint

    Please help me.

    TIA

Read all about it in the API documentation for the BufferedImage class; you can manipulate each bit in such an object.

    kind regards,

Check out BufferedImage (Java Platform SE 7 ) and Raster (Java Platform SE 7 ) and other links the API points too. Also check out the Java Tutorials.
