Auto Update Function
I want to add an auto update function feature into my client-server application . Can anyone tell me how to do that ? I am pretty sure there are various ways for it. Any information and suggestions are welcome

Thanks

Hi,

What type of function?...What you want to update..?

Please be more specific in your question.

I want to do something like the automatic updates feature in Eclipse IDE. Instead of deploying a new product I want the auto updates does the job by sending the changes only.

What I want to update could be anything, could be images or the classes or maybe new plugins. Or maybe you can also tell me what things can be updated and whats not.

thanks.

OK,

It can be done using ANT. It will copy only changed classes.

Send a message via Yahoo to sukatoa
And also multithreading, it is very useful... no cpu usage increase if correctly implemented.... safe to use if coded carefully....
