I have started using eclipse, it's good.
No worries for opening a terminal again running the program again and again all utilities are there in eclipse, though I am using it on ubuntu.

I used to use JCreator, but I had major difficulty getting Java Web Start-based applications to work. Now I use Netbeans and I don't have nearly as many problems.
