java gui
hi, im making a little game board where the surface is wooden. im looking to give it a laminated look, to make it look more like wood. is there any way I can do this with colors or some other way?

How about adding a background image, which is initially created using photoshop or any other graphic tool. I hope your background is a JFrame...

hey thats a good idea, thanks. how do I set the background as an image? i already have the image i want in the same folder. yea im using JFrame
