problem with applets..

Hi everyone,
I wrote a html file and an applet.But I try to run that html file from the browser,instead of applet i am getting a red cross(X) in a corner.And also i am getting a message like "Applet Appletprg notinited" .After this i am getting a message like "Loading java applet failed..".My applet code was compiled fine.I am using Mozilla Firefox as browser.
Please tell me solution to this problem.

Is your java class or jar file in the path .. (Path pointed in the html file)

Probably you have given th wrong path name. Check with Different path files like .html,.htm.
And also check for the import files used in the program .You may be missing something.
