    Default TreeMap or Vector

    Hi I am new here,

    I have a problem,
I am going to retrieve a certain object information
I am trying to make it as efficient
So by using TreeMap.get(), is it faster than Vector.get()

    Thanks in advance.

A Map and List (the interface Vector implements) do different things, and you didn't explain enough to recommend one vs. the other. If you want key/value pairs, use a Map. If you want an ordered List, then use a List. If you want some variety of either (for instance, ordered key's in a key/value Map - eg TreeMap), then choose the appropriate implementation
