Re: Install Java 6 SDK and Java 7 SDK at same time?
Having two JDKs on the same machine isn't a problem (I have 6 and 7 on this machine) but the requirement doesn't make sense. Anything you can do in Java 6, you can also do in Java 7.
Also, teaching Java ME in this day and age sounds rather a waste of time. For Java on mobile devices, JavaFX is the way ahead. Java ME is dead.

Re: Install Java 6 SDK and Java 7 SDK at same time?
Thanks for the information. My co-instructor is teaching Corona and he says that it would not run the apps with Java 7 on the PC, but when they downloaded Java 6 they ran. We use DeepFreeze on the lab machines, hence I wanted to verify that the dual installation was OK before changing our lab machines (ITS does not let us have the unlock code). We have used Java 7 for the Java programming course the previous year, so I wanted to avoid any complications.
