Default How to take user input from a GUI and place the data in an Array

Obviously I'm super new to Java and I'm sure this is a simple task but any input from you JAVA guru's would be greatly appreciated. I have a small program I am creating that calculates time by a pay rate using a gui interface I created with Netbeans. I need to take that user input and place it into a two-dimensional Array and then run a report. If there is more information needed please let me know and I will do my best to supply it. Thanks in advance.

So, where are you stuck? If you are already taking user input and performing operations (pay rate), then you know how to do that part. What's stopping you from making your 2d array?
