Importing MS word/excel docs into jtextarea/jpanel
I am trying to write a procedure guide for work to help helpdesk agents access information....I'm gona create a cardlayout with jbuttons and radio buttons to navigate through information. Some buttons will open Word/Excel Docs etc.
Is there a way that I can display Ms Word docs in JTextArea or JPanel instead of opening word for every document? If i have to conver file to pdf or another format would be ok. tool
So...click on jbutton or jradiobutton and in the main jpanel screen the Ms word doc will appear. Is there anything that will do that for me?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated

Re: Importing MS word/excel docs into jtextarea/jpanel
The Apache project has some packages that will read some MS files. I've never used them and don't know how they work.
If you don't understand my response, don't ignore it, ask a question.
