Show us the complete path of that bin directory; the path name will tell if it's the bin directory of your JDK.

You don't have a JDK installed; you have two different JREs. Obviously you have always used the tools supported by Eclipse (e.g. its compiler).

Sure, that's a Java version 1.7 you have there; if you don't have any older code running, that'll be fine; it's the latest version.

    kind regards,

The first image is for a 64-bit computer and your computer is 32 bits.

The second image might mean that you downloaded a non-windows version, i.e. Linux and etc.

Did you download from here: Java EE SDK 6 and JDK 7 Downloads ?

Wait..I guess I was pointing to the Enterprise Edition. I believe you could use it (java_ee_sdk-6u4-jdk7-windows.exe).

Why not just download netbeans: http://netbeans.org/downloads/. (The all version). It comes with Java version 1.7.0_04.

What IDE do you use at this time.

If I'm not mistaken the JDK comes with a JRE. Just install the correct version (MS Windows, 32 bits or 64 bits and nothing else); Eclipse can find the JRE ...
