    Default Out of memory error

If you don't use that then the fact Minecraft works is irrelevant to your problem, which is entirely down to the amount of memory Java has available to it and the amount you are asking it to use.
Now, that is not to say you don't have a memory leak.

Are you loading a lot of images?
Is this the only image you are loading?
Are you holding onto multiple copies of the same image, when you possibly only need the one?

All these need to be looked into by you.

    HI All,

i am new to this site..

i am also getting outofmemoryerror: java heap space .

According to information search in google increasing the heap size is not recommened because heap size is varied to one PC than another PC. so we need to find out root cause for the outofmemoryerror.

this error is happening when we keep on adding vector objects to another vector object. can you please anybody help me out in fixing this error.

    thanks for help in advance.

Right below the menu and breadcrumbs on the left near the top of the page showing the posts in some particular forum, there is a button saying "+Post New Thread".

The forum also contains some general FAQ. In particular read the General Forum Usage information.
