bringing maps into java application
hello,
i don't have much expirence in java.
But as my curriculum project i have to create a desktop application that displays map.
(something like google map)
but it should not be a web application. it should be a desktop application.
please tell me how can i do this.

If it is part of your project then surely you have some notes with which to get started. Have you written any code yet?

If the map is an image in a file, you could read the image and display it in a JLabel or draw it in a JPanel.

Then perhaps you should try again. This time outline the steps you want to take to get your program to work, and then one at a time try solving each step. Then please do come back if you get stuck with a portion of your code.
