    Default Capture the screen in java

    I want to know is there anyway that using Java one can capture the screen for some particular time, like making a desktop screen cast and then store the result as a video file?

    I read this article, but I'm still confuse:

    What are you confused about? You have to specify the coordinates and size of the bounding rectangle a let the Robot class make a screen capture. It delivers a single Image for you. Read the API documentation for the Robot class and you'll know all you need to know.
