Does there exist a guide or book that teaches you the API?
I know, I can just read the API... I was just wondering if there was some guide that gives you some context and helps you remember it and what methods are more commonly used that others for certain things
probably a stupid question, but I was just wondering if its best to obsorb a lot of it by using a guide of some kind or leaving it to practice and looking up things when you need it? whats the best way to teach the API.

The best way to learn is by programming. You can read all the books on how to play baseball you want, but you won't actually know how to play until you actually play. Practice makes perfect, and all that.
