Why are you using 6.9 when NetBeans IDE 7.1.1 is available: http://netbeans.org/downloads/. You can just down "All", the last column.

What do you mean by cmd? What are you selecting in the IDE?

There are two points to consider
    1) Cmd means command prompt when ur doing project in IDE there is no need of going command prompt. You can do project in IDE you can compile & execute it
    2) Second foremost think that u have to check whether windows7 supports java or not

Please use proper words and punctuation, and a capital letter at the start of a sentence, proper noun and the singular first person I.
