how to put score in my snake games

ok. i have heard about to save or to keep the score mark in some text files. its more easier instead of using jdbc.
so can anybody tell me it is possible to do that and how to build that..really need your help. any others information i can tell it later,thank you

This tutorial will teach you about file IO. I find it to be a bit cumbersome though - a lot more information than you can probably use right now. Instead, I would suggest learning how to use IO.FileWriter. It should be straightforward enough for you. Try to open the file, write to it, and then close it. Eventually you'll want to look into appending rather than rewriting.
