Need help with my project : Back up application
Hi All,

I am planning to build a java application that would help me to create a backup for all my files, from the system on which the application is running to the remote server. I just need the direction, that i need to follow to accomplish my goal.Any suggestion will be appreciated.

What's your level of experience at this point? Some things you may want to want to look into are serialization for storing your files- otherwise you could just send them into in archive or store them textually.. another to look into is networking at the sockets level to transport your files. Keep us updated on your project and welcome to the Java Forums.
