Default Single sign on for 2 portals under same domain.

    Hi,

I have 2 portals of same domains and both the portals have separate login pages and now I would to have single sign on from 1st portal. User has to login from the 1st portal and
submits credentials to the 1st and 2nd portal sign on should happen. This can be done by setting cookies, but can you please help me how to do this, am new to Java.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks & regards
    Priya

Aren't portals a larger oracle technology not specifically related to java? In other words, this is a portals specific question?

I am sorry, Pls take it like this, I have two websites, using Java based application and backend is postgres. would like to integrate both the websites which are under the same domain. So whenever a user login from 1st website, they should be able to access the 2nd site also without being logged in again. It has to be done by setting a cookie & taking it to the 2nd site then cross check..but how it can be done, can u pls help me?. I am just new to Java, so struggling. Pls help me out.

    Thanks a ton.
