Actually I am not looking for LDAP (Light weight directory access protocol), I am searching for LAPD (Link Access Protocol - Channel D) it is actually an ISDN control channel protocol. Actually I need to capture LAPD packets coming in from ISDN E1.
Hope You got my point if not let me know, I am looking forward for reply.
Thanks

Java Networking is not so much low level. It is implemented in sockets level. If you need to do this in Java, you should interface native code to Java using JNI..
