Asking for source ( books, web pages.. ) for Object Oriented Programming logic.

Hi,

I have been trying to learn JAVA for a few months now.

I am almost good with the fundamentals , methods, variables, classes, containers... But I am lacking a lot in the big picture.

Can you recommend me some sources to learn how to do things ? I guess it is a topic of Object Oriented Programming logic or Design Patterns. I do not even know that.

Like if I am writing a simple ATM Machine code, how would I design the classes ? Or like a backgammon game perhaps?

I have already ordered Java Examples in a NUTSHELL, but I am in doubt it is going to be enough.

I haven't read the entire thing, but Head First Design Patterns was good from the half I read. There is another highly recommended book (which I have not read) called http://www.amazon.com/dp/0201633612/...ackoverfl08-20
