Oh okay I get it now. Thanks. So just make a public static void main(String[] args) { "and put text here?" }...I just need to know how to start this lab.

You should ask your instructor if the lab is to use the console for I/O or have a GUI.
I suspect it will be console.

    Good luck on your project.
There is a lot of material to cover before you will be able to write code to show a GUI.
There are many examples in the tutorials so be sure to look through them.

    That's it for tonight.

Oh okay, is there anything to add on how to get started? So far I've started with naming my class, now I need to go deeper into coding the 'Dice Button' and 'Calculating Total Score'. If there's anything you want to add, I'll be here for your help. Thanks for your time.

anything to add on how to get started
Think through most of the logic of how the program is supposed to work before trying to write any code.

Also Norm, how do I change the name of this thread so that my teacher won't have to find out I needed help? He'll be searching for anyone who's copying codes, but I'm not. I just needed help, so can you help me change the name of this thread or delete it?

Best to leave the thread unchanged. Your teacher should be able to find this thread to see that you didn't get code (and visa versa if that were the case).
