    Default Please Please Please Help

    I try to install java but it says "This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor"

    And i did and they can't to anything.

    I don't know why my processor isn't "sufficient" enough.

    I bought this laptop about 3 years ago, Compaq V2000 running Windows XP Home Eddition and it says Processor 3000+...


    why can't i install??

    Likely, you tried to download the incorrect package - possibly you tried to install 64-bit package on a 32-bit system, vice versa?

    In the meanwhile, please post your system specifications(what is Processor 3000+??), post exactly what is inside your system. Also include what version of Java you tried and a link to where you got it from.
