    Ok good luck.

    Remember classpath does not overlap package path. The two together is a path to the class file.

    I don't know why I'm doing this, considering how rude you are being, but:
    <myhome>/prog/j/samplepackage
    That is the package you are pointing at.
    The class path should point at the directory containing the package, not the package itself.

    Which Norm could have told you straight away had you provided all the information requested in the first place.
    So your frustration is purely self inflicted.

    OK. Sorry if you feel that.
    I didn't understand correctly the tutorial, it was the real problem. I've read it again and again still being OK. I suffered a bit, because my way was wrong. It is my mistake as I wrote. But now... this is light. I've learned it the hard way.
    The reason to asking help was that I tried a lot to make it correct and couldn't solve.
