Try opening the file in an editor and see what it contains.

Why is this a java programming problem?

The .m extension could be an Objective C file or a Matlab file or ... maybe Google can help you out.

From what I can see from that image (which isn't much), the code isn't C/C++ code ... first make sure what language that is and only then try to find a compiler for it.

    kind regards,

I don't recognize the language of your steg.m file; where did you get it from? If it needs to be compiled you can't call its source file as you tried; if it is a scripting language you need its interpreter. I can't help you any further before I know the language of your file.

    kind regards,

I checked that link; the code is hardly commented; I did find (a picture of) an author 'Punit'; maybe you can check things out with him because for us it will only be an exercise in hacking.

Don't keep starting new threads for a continuation of the same discussion. I've merged your post into the pre-existing thread for you, but that's only because I'm in a good mood.

How strange; I included 'free' in the search string and for me it gives me free downloads for Matlab; b.t.w. this is not a code factory and we are not going to translate Matlab code to Java; you have to do your own work.
