    Question How can I start?

    I want to learn Java, and I installed Netbeans, but I don't know how can I start to programming!
    I want to use Java for simulation a Wireless Networks,
    can you recommend any text book or anything that be helpful for me, to start learning Java,

    The best book is a very individualized choice. Many like the Head First text for its breezy style while others prefer other books. Myself I got a bunch of used books when starting out because they were cheap. Yes they were a little bit out of date, but I learned the basics and then learned the new stuff through the internet.
