    Default Reg: Difference between declarations

    Hi,
    Can anybody tell, what is the difference between the following 2 declarations?

    List<Insurance> insuranceList = new ArrayList<Insurance>();
    ArrayList<Insurance> insuranceList = new ArrayList<Insurance>();
