Hello all, not sure if this post is in the right place.

Finished my degree two years ago now and got no were with it. So wondering what route to take.

Have finished a Dating Website in PHP/MYSQL.

Nearly Finished a Android Dating app(90%) done that communicates with the website database remotely.

I have been told to add some work done in Pure Java to my project to show potential employers.

I can only think of a Live chat room of some sort, I know this can be done in PHP but was hopeing maybes a Java applet? Or Im I out of date with the times with this one? Any ideas anyone many thx.
