Java3d help!!

hi guys,

i am making a project 4 my computer science class and i need help!
you must be so smart if you understand this java3d stuff!! like, wow!!

i want to make a 3d magic 8ball. cool, right? :)
i just rly dont know where to start!!!1

im panicqueen (like, panicking, lol) cuz its due next week
so... can u help me?

i gess first i need to know like, how should i do this?
is a jframe better then a jpanel? i want to be able to click drag and shake the ball with the mousey, then make answer appear. PLEASE HELP!!1 im so confused! thanks:P:

Perhaps it's me, but I'm not entirely clear and what it is exactly that you are trying to do. Can you explain things in more detail? Do you have explicit assignment instructions that you need to follow? If so, post it here? Also, what part of the assignment confuses you? Also, are you sure that you need to use the Java3D library as most of us are not that familiar with it?

Oh and please avoid non-standard abbreviations in your posts here. Programming is an exercise in precision, and so it behooves you to be extremely precise and clear in your communications with us if we're going to have any chance of helping you.

Oh, ok sorry...

It's an assignment where we have to use Java3D to create a childhood toy and the only one left for me was the 8ball...
I need to be abl to shake the ball by draggnig it, then when I let go it goes back to the original place nd reveals a random answer.

I kno how to do the random answers, but Java3D really confuses me. Does anyone know how I should set this up?

Again, are you sure that you have to use the Java3D library since this is not part of the standard core library and must be downloaded separately? Again, do you have an assignment protocol that you can post here? The details are very important.
