Application runs in Eclipse console. How to make it a stand alone app?

I have a single class application which works well in the Eclipse console. But how do I turn it into a Jar file?

...but you know you can compile and run without eclipse, right?

yupp.. I tried the jar in command prompt method but I kept getting the main class not found error! It's ok i managed to squeeze out a jar file using netbeans. Pardon my noobness.. Thanks!

Your noobness doesn't bother me, but you're really going to want to become more familiar with what the IDEs are doing behind the scenes. Eclipse can also export Jars, but like I said, the command prompt is your best bet until you understand the underlying processes.
