Does anyone know...

Alright, I might get flammed for this, but it's worth a try.

Does anyone here know how to set up a RuneScape private server?

I don't want it to be connectable to other people, I just want it set up to a local host.

I try to run the clients/compilers/server and yet either I get the run for the server right and the compiler, and then the client doesn't work or vise versa. I have never been able to get the client running or even connect to anything for that matter.

All help is greatly appreciated, from "f*** you" to "here's how you do it:".

But listen very closely. Can you hear it? That's the sound of people who have been here for a bit, sighing. You are not the first person to ask! What usually goes through my mind is "don't the RuneScape people provide instructions for the installation and usage of their software?".

Since this is a Java programming forum I hope you'll forgive the total lack of information in this post. But, as you say, it's worth a try and I wish you good luck. Failing a decent response here you might look about for a RuneScape forum.

Oh, trust me, I have probably looked at every tutorial, and every RSPS forum you can think of. I've probably asked 50 people and yet, no one cares to actually give me any information. All I need to know is the deeper than basic stuff (how to connect to the client, changing the IP of the server, etc).
